"Empowering space through spatial intelligence."
I am Mohd Suhail, a postgraduate in Geography and a BS Computer Science student at the University of the People. My academic foundation includes degrees in History, Political Science, and Education, with a deep-rooted passion for geospatial technologies, climate change, and sustainable development.
I specialize in GIS and Remote Sensing applications and work extensively with tools like QGIS, ArcGIS Pro, and Google Earth Engine. My interests lie in land use/land cover change, environmental monitoring, and spatial data analysis to support decision-making for urban planning, water resource management, and climate resilience.
I have actively contributed to climate awareness and rural engagement through the National Service Scheme (NSS). During my NSS tenure, I organized and participated in environmental campaigns, afforestation drives, and climate awareness speeches in nearby villages. I also led rallies and debates on climate change and its impact on rural communities, aligning my service work with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Through both research and fieldwork, I aim to contribute meaningfully to organizations like the United Nations, UNEP, ESRI or NASA that focus on global environmental and developmental challenges.
This is my first GIS project where I mapped the Navarro watershed boundary and generated streamlines using ArcGIS Pro. It helped me understand basic hydrological mapping and topographic referencing.

This survey collects real-time data on infrastructure in rural areas using ArcGIS Survey123 for monitoring water, electricity, schools, and sanitation.
I'm excited to share my Master's research project titled "Land Use & Land Cover Change Detection and Environmental Impact Assessment in Ayodhya: A Geospatial Synthesis through GIS and Remote Sensing" This report presents a comprehensive analysis of urban expansion, land use transformation, and environmental trade-offs in Ayodhya District from 2000 to 2025 using satellite imagery and GIS tools like Google Earth Engine and ArcGIS Pro. Includes: LULC Maps, NDVI, NDBI, SAVI, NDWI, MNDWI, LST analysis, and methodology Tools: Google Earth Engine, QGIS, ArcGIS Pro, USGS Earth Explorer Your feedback is welcome. Let’s connect on research and geospatial innovations!
